Sili Skin Sand Eel, very basic..... corsair inner tube about 1/2 way..colored olive on top from the inside...eyes on the inside...and just folded and trimed.

What is siliskin? I think I saw it briefly at the Tyer's Symposium in NJ, but it was too crowded to get close. As I recall, the same guys who produce "locofoam" (foil back foam) made this stuff. What is it and where do you get it? Thanks.

great looking sand eel. What size hook?

Is that wet in the picture..? Or do you finish it with something that makes it look shiny?

2/0 Short Varivas..it is dry..that's the way the material comes.
