Could someone help with how I can properly view these videos. I have downloaded what I think is the proper plug-in for Windows XP , yet my browser(Netscape) doesn't seem to be able to open any of these files. It appears that the plug-in is not loading ppoperly.

Thanks

What media player are you using with netscape? RealPlayer? Windows Media Player? Quicktime?

Tried Flash Player which is supposed to support XP. Somehow I am supposed to drop this into my browser, but after I installed it, it never came back with a command to do so.

Try getting the Quicktime Player from Apple.

Go to the Quicktime Page (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/)

It's a free download.

If you have a Real Network product (Real One or Real Player) be warned that it is a "very aggressive" product which will try to make itself you default player even if you try to install another media player.

Unfortunately, Real Network apps will appear in the web page but will not show the video. It will only play the audio. However, if you right-click on the embedded app and select "Play in Real One" or "Play in Real Player", this will launch the app outside of the web page and will successfully play the video and audio.

Quicktime and Windows Media Player should work fine in the web page. If you have Real One or Real Player and you want to install one of these other apps, then you need to uninstall (Start menu -> Settings -> Add/Remove Programs) the Real Networks app first.
