Hi guys,

Will be in the Bermudas next weekend. Never been there and don't have time to do any research. Do you have any advice about fly-fishing in the Bermudas? For what species? From where? Any outifitter you would recommend? What type of rod and line? What about flies? etc ...
Thanks for your help.

PS: this is not a fishing trip. Will be there for a wedding.

Hi,

I'm not really a fly fisherman, yet. Just fishing with conventional/spinning gear.

I have been to Bermuda. Did quite a bit snorkeling when I was there. No fishing unfort. I did see quite a bit of baracuda in about 2 - 3' of water at Tobacco Bay. Tobacco Bay was one of my fav beaches there. Private, clean not too deep. Should be ok ay to wade. Also, protected bay so not too much wind which would be good for fly fishing.

Also, if you're in the National Guard or Reserves, etc, You can rent a Boston Whaler for $7/day at the US base there! Def need a military id. The is near St George. Can't remember name of the base.

Have fun!

Joe
