rodmount

I have been reading this site for some time and was looking for input and opinions as to where the f.f. rodmount should go on a kayak. the kayak is a Looksha sport. Thanks in advance

Sort of depends on how you want to use it. Lots of people seem happy with those Scotty type rod holders. Holds the rod well and can be used for trolling. If you get into rougher stuff, a rod holder that keeps your wand secure against the body of the yak might be a better option. Rules out trolling but you don't have to worry about breaking anything if you roll. Placement of your chosen holder will be a personal decision. I remember "paddling" and "casting" in my back yard for hours before I finally decided how I wanted to secure my rod. It's now four years later and I want to move it again.
