Angel Hair Feather Brain

Here is a departure to the usual "guts" of this fly... Instead of Bucktail and Flashabou I have done it with Pearl angel hair inside..tyed to the shank Mike martinek style by clumping, picking with a bodkin and then trimming... Then a simple spreader.. I have three posts here.

This is in the sink obviously.. The camera unfortunatly does not really pick up the flash..but it is there and not overpowering... it reflects though the entire fly and really makes a realistic fish flank.

Where can I pick up some angel hair? The flies look great. How big are those roughly? thanks

I am certain you can pick it up in any Fly shop.. it may go by other names but it's the same thing.. I get mine from Mike Martinek. They are only 2/1/2 to 3 inches long..maybe close to 4
