after a decade-long self-imposed exile from the hardwater, the angler known as Rockfisherman returned to the ice this past weekend. responding to simultaneous flags, he iced the brace of fish pictured below. I tended to a third flag and battled to submission a 5" perch.

Bill, thank you for the nice shots. If left to my own devices, I would have no photos...despite having a digital camera (with a dead battery) and a 35 mm (2 shots left on the roll). Paul

Sam,
I've noticed that some of you guys wear fairly brightly colored clothing. Note the camoflauge I am wearing. When the ice is black, the fish can see you.

Beautifull fish. They do exist. It was the clothes...yeah...thats what we do wrong....

what about chow? you DID bring kielbasa and kraut, DIDN'T YOU???? then, yes, must've been the garb. my camo, not pictured, was GI arctic pattern.
we got the slam: bass, brown, bow and perch. We're going back for brookies and salmon this weekend, and dare I say it: crappies!--125-3

Chow was limited to what we could find at 7-11. Fire was not allowed at the pond so the meat-n-kraut had to stay in the car.

YM, the trout took small shiners. We both tried jigging with no results at all.
