Good luck, Myrtle beach has little to no structure from the State line south to Pawleys Island. I have fished here a number of times in the fall and the surf fishing tends to be very hit or miss with few gamefish making an appearance. Wading is excellent as the bottom is sand, sand, sand. Keep an eye out for bait being busted though as occasionally there are gamefish pushing bait. Try to check out the beach during low tide to find the gutters/holes etc... these tend to be the best spots. I have had decent luck by squirting Menhaden oil into the surf which puts out a scent and does not feed the fish.
