A while back I asked what flies I should tie for use in saltwater. Among the suggestions was Ray's fly, but I dont see this in any pattern books. Does anyone have a picture or a description?
Thank you,
Ed

The trick with the Ray's fly seems to be tying it really sparse. Been using them two at a time and got my first double header on the fly rod recently. Ray's Fly is great when the bait is small, its light and it sinks quickly when tied sparse.
Fly definitely catches fish.
