Understand that Cobia and Redfish frequent the lower keys in March and April. Any thoughts on how and where to catch these dudes? Also, what about Jacks and Specs?

Are the above species as temperature oriented as Bones and Tarpon?

Florida Sportsman Magazine sells fishing charts printed on waterproof paper that are labeled with species and "hotspots" to catch them and the season they frequent that spot. It's basically a marine navigational chart with the fish info added but they say it's not for navigational purposes. While I'm sure local tackle shops can give you much more detailed and up to date info, the chart seems like it would at least help as a guide to tell you what you might expect and where you are. Chart 10 is Upper Keys/Florida Bay - Ocean Reef to Marathon, including Florida Bay. Chart 11 is Key West - Marathon to Rebecca Shoal. We made the mistake of ordering just the KW(11) chart as it said Marathon on it but it only shows the end of Marathon (Boot Key) so we bought the Upper Keys (10) chart as well. They were $14.95 ea. plus $3 shipping
