1999 Hewes Light Tackle 18 and 1998 EZ Loader Trailer. Boat has 130 Yamaha, Seastar Hydraulic Steering, Dual Batteries, G. Loomis pushpole, Lowrance LMS 160 Map (Sounder/GPS),ICOM M45 VHF Radio and all of the standard eqipment in working order. Boat and Trailer are in excellent condition. I'm posting this again at a new price--19K. Boat is currently located in New Jersey. Here's a picture.

Well, since you didn't punctuate, I don't know whether you were asking a question or making a statement, so I'll answer. Surprisingly well. I've crossed Long Island Sound in that and worse. I've also been in the Montauk and Sandy Hook Rips and through the Slough at Cape Lookout Shoals. It's not comfortable in those conditions but I don't know too many boats in the 18 foot range that are. My friend's 18 Maritime Skiff is about the same. Of course, there are some days when I can't go where a bigger, deeper hull can. On the other hand, there are places I can go everyday where a bigger, deeper hull can't.:)
PS: I also like the Jones Brothers and Parker boats but you do give up a little (just a little) shallow water capability.
