Two great ramps, one bordered by a dock. Plenty of parking. The Pamet River has an extraordinary tidal change so anyone not fishing in a Quicksilver inflatable really has to launch and return during the upper portions of the tide. Fee for using the ramp, but if you arrive early and leave late you get a freebee. Try to return late- awesome sunsets.

Echo the need for care due to shallow draft.
I have a 17 ft. CC and need only 18-24 inches when motor trimmed up.
Nice channel though and depending on wheter they dredge or not even at low tide I was able to launch and recover at normal low water. Have not tried it on an extreame tide.
About 6 miles to run to Long Point/P-Town harbour.
Plenty of parking!

I use this ramp more than any other ramp and must say that you want to get there early if you plan to use it, especially on weekends. The ramp is used alot by commercials, both bass and tuna and can fill up quickly. It is a $10.00 per day fee and the harbor is tide restricted. If your running a small skiff u can get out near low but if your running a 20' plus boat with any deadrise you need a minimum two hours each side of low....It's a pretty common site to see boats stuck out at the mouth of the harbor that had too much draft! ;)

I have dropped at Pamet more than any other Cape Cod ramp as well. The way out is tough at low tide, stay right, stay right. On the way in, stay left, stay left. Otherwise you will be aground waiting for the tide. One hour before low tide gives you about 3 feet. If you draft more than 2 feet, give yourself 2 hours around low tide.

Any more confirmation on how busy the lot will get on a weekend. Is it safe to say this lot will be full if I got there at 12 PM?

Can not speak for Pamet but other busy ramps often fill by 9am. By 12 there may be spaces opening from people that only fished the morning.
