the ramp is very very steep, and is bone dry 1 hour on either side of low tide. there is, however, good parking, not very much traffic (because really big boats can't use the ramp easilly, and the spot offers good access to ipswich/essex bay, and you can go through gloucester harbor, and fish the south side of cape ann. all in all, a great ramp if you have a smaller craft under 20'.

but the nice thing about this ramp is that since the one behind the high school opened, no one is using it.

I'd say it's more like two hours either side of low this ramp isn't accessible. If you can launch and pull close to high tide, this isn't a bad option.

And even though it's called "Corliss" it's not on Corliss Rd. It's on the next road up.
