This is the reason that the user gave:
I use the Jones River, it is only good to use two & half hours before and after high tide. No water. The best and safest is Gloucester High School ramp. Brand new with floats and cheaper than it was before the new ramp was built.

When I was a kid there, it was called Jones Creek. But everything else seems unchanged,.

Unless it has been paved in the last 10 years...strictly a no lower than 1/2 tide ramp.
