First thing I can say is it's free --127-3- ....Giving that, don't expect a lot of frills. The ramp is not steep at all. Best to launch at high tide. Very shallow <3 ft for about 50-75 yards out. Best if you aim for the lighthouse out on the neck. There is parking, but don't know if it is monitored by the police --123-3

I tried to launch a couple weeks ago out of Manchester (By the Sea, for you snobs)...what a s**t hole ramp! Bad at anything less than 1/2 tide, than you have to deal with the RR draw bridge...did I mention the boats moored right at the bottom, or the lack of parking? Clearly the good folks in Manchester do want to encourage scruffy fishermen to use their facilities.

Beverly has a good ramp near the Kernwood Bridge...costs a couple bucks to park but easy access, and puts you out into Salem Sound.
Marblehead has another ramp next to Marblehead Lobster, but it's also shallow
Good Luck

Is there a dock at the Marblehead ramp?
Thanks,

No dock, there isn't even much of a ramp at the Marblehead ramp.

Thanks gf. I figured that was the case.
It looks as though I may be moving up into that neck of the woods soon. I need to find a decent ramp to launch from. I may also need somewhere to store the boat too.

Can't help with storage, that's always a problem, but the best ramps in the area are at Winter Island in Salem and Pope's Landing in Danvers.
