Quality ramp, should handle any boat that you can trailer. Grooved concrete, floating dock on at least one side. Parking could be a problem during peak hours.

The Mattapoisett Boat Ramp is a very well-maintained, grooved concrete ramp. The ramp itself is almost 35 feet wide. The adjacent float is approximately 50 foot long, allowing multiple boats to be tied up if necessary.
The ramp provides great access to central Buzzards Bay, Cleveland Ledge, and the Elizabeth Islands and beyond. As with most of Buzzards Bay, there are tons of rock piles, ledges, and other spots for shallow water fishing around the area.
Mattapoisett Harbor is also a pretty good kayaking location. It is moderately sheltered from SW winds, but conditions can vary quite a bit. It is also a fairly busy harbor, with lots of moored vessels. There are other many other locations in Mattapoisett you could use to launch kayaks, however.
Parking at this location can be problematic. There is absolutely no non-resident trailer parking at the Town Wharf. Non-residents can park autos and trailers on Depot Street, which is located about a quarter-mile up the road (northerly) from the ramp.
Another thing is that this ramp can get quite busy, especially during the beginning and end of the boating season. A lot of the commercial boat haulers use this harbor for hauling vessels (lots of sailboats!) in and out.
