Sam aka Bass Candy aka Skunkmaster aka Perch boy aka Trout Unlimited got a little hungry after being skunked in Nahant, so he paddle all the way accross the harbor in search of some wildlife...I guess aka bunny basher, got a little too hungry when he got to shore, he saw tracks and took off running...by the time I got there....
Sam,
Does your wife know you eat junk food when fishing!!!

Ray,
As I understand it bunnies are quite low in fat and cholesterol so my better half would surely approve... basted eggs on the other hand is another story

Hey, Shaun,
The link takes me no-where for Riley and the Goose, er Gull Eggs. Goose Eggs, Skunkings, I am noticing a theme here...
Sammy,
You kinda in the medical field, Basted eggs are on the Dr. Atkins Diet for Life. Fat is good for you carbs are bad. I've lost 24 pounds since Jan. 1 following the good docs diet.
Eating rabbits inthe field will only give you hairballitis, an affliction normally found in large overweight house cats.
The eggs are pure protien and the bacon fat they are basted with just help burn off all those extra helpings of Pasta, Rice, potatos and baked goods. a.k.a. Donuts!
You may eat the rabbit but not the hair. Gin, Vodka and whiskey do not have any carbos. Take two of each and call me in the morning.
