Thank you all for your replies to my request for Rays fly recipe (both email and posted).
I now have a new question. I have been told by SEVERAL people (including those who I believe have fished the salt alot) that saltwater flies must have eyes (not the one you put the leader through), yet the pictures of Rays fly have no eyes, including the one on Ray's homepage.
So I wonder if I should be putting eyes on all these flies I'm tying???

<P><FONT color=black face=Verdana,Geneva size=2>In theory eye's should help. Many believe that most preditory fish key in one or two spots - the baitfish eye's and/or gills. With that said, many of the "Rhoad Island school" of flytying (Ray B., Kenny A., Ron M.,Bill P. etc.) seem to feel they are unnecessary (they also seem to have a distain for large heavy tied flies and weighted flies but thats another story.). They also catch LOTS of fish.</FONT></P>
