I may be down that way this weekend and was thinking of trying this ramp though I have no clue where it is or the conditions. All the others in the river are either undergoing work or need repair making them tough to use at the bottom corner of low tide.

How is is for parking, traffic, tides, etc? I only have a 17.5 foot boat so launching is usually no trouble for me.

Lastly, are they open early / late?

i have a mooring at winter island and though i don't use the ramp it appears to be in very good condition and usable at all tides.

I use this ramp often. It is a great ramp. Useable at all tides. At low tide just stay to the ocean side after launch as there are a few rocks about 25 yards off on the Salem side. Plenty of parking. I think they open at 7:00am.

I found this ramp by accident one week end. Although there are ramps in the area that are easier to get to from 128. This site has a great large parking lot, large / deep ramp, large nice condition dock.

Just noticed that the ramp fee went up from 10 to $15 for non residents. Residents fee still appears to be $5.
