does anyone have any further info on this ramp.

It's self serve. Just launch, park and slip the fee into the little box next to the peir. It's about 1-2 miles south of the center of town.

Weekends can get VERY crowded there and the spaces may fill up fast. Sux trying to pull the boat out on a nice sunny summer afternoon. Lot's of knobs all jockeying to try and pull out at the same time. (that's why they call it "Tempest Knob")

Best to use it during off-peak hours.
