Has anyone ever rigged a kayak to be towed behind a bike, a manual bike I mean, one without an engine? I made a design for one in CAD but with a 16 foot long kayak, I don't know how well it would work. It doesn't seem to difficult to do though if you think about it. Any imput would be welcomed.

Thank's again,

mike

So it CAN be done! Thank you for the link, maybe I can convince my mom and dad now that I'm not crazy!

Why not put wheels and pedals on the kayak and make the bike redundant. Would make launching down a ramp a lot of fun! and if you add a propeller you could get rid of your paddle too! I am going to try it.

Hey Mike,

I didn't have a kayak when I was in high school, so this wasn't a problem for me. But me and my friends rode bikes to all the local fishing holes holding our rods in hands and gripping the handle bars. I can imagine towing a kayak now, thanks to you. Good Luck...
