transducer mounting

read a post by joe v about mounting transducer in pvc tube under hull portable install pics and idea were great I am thinking of doing same in my tarpon how has this install worked for anyone who has done it I live in southington next door to bristol and hope to get feedback and a look at install if possible thanks

Capt Dom Check your pm.Nice yak.They sure do look pretty before they get hammered with fish slime , puked up peanut bunker,seaweed,dragged across a rocky shoal and slammed into a few rocks :eek:
Give me a call and you can come by and check it out.Works great so far.2 minutes to put on yak and less than that to take it off.However my cable is run under the hatch cover.You might have to put in a fitting for the cable .
