Washington DC kayaking and stripers

The Washington Post today had a picture of a 25 lb striper caught above Washington DC on the Potomac River. Does anyone have any advice for kayaking from DC to Fletcher's on the Potomac and fishing for stripers?

There is VA yak fishing group, some of them probably know the area. Try a search on Yahoo, I think they have a webpage there. If not, I have email for an individual I will ask to contact you.

Good info! I like spending time in D.C. and this expands my chance at stripers, should I get there in the Spring of the year.
