Bait Boy is Getting Hungry

Today's lunch has left me feeling unsatisfied and now my thoughts turn to the bounty of seafood heading our way. This year I plan on targeting Squid from the yak. Question is, has anyone ever done this or have recommendations. I haven't gone after them since I was a wee lad but still have many colors of jigs in my bag. When and where should I target them? Do I simply head for the nearest full current, well lit deep water dock after dark? Any Mass hot spots and info would be greatly appreciated :)

I remember fishing squid when I was a wee lad too - that was in late summer by the docks in Hyannis where the Hyline ferries take off

The Edgartown Docks near the Derby Check In Shack. Cane pole with one of the new squid fish jigs. The circl of hooks around the tail of the minnow will hep ya feed yer family, Sam!

Ladies is ladies, young Shaun! We have laws about disabilities &discrimination and you should respect them fully. Besides, the lady in question was the best SOT yak driver I ever met. The 25# bag of #9 shot strapped to the left side floor of the Tarpon was her ony concession to the laws of gravity and physics.

With her P-leg strapped on she could do the twist with the best of my generation. And she could handle her share of Martinis to boot. She shot skeet well and caught more weakfish on the fly than "Bait Boy" ever dreamed of.

It broke my heart when she ran off with a Argentine Cattle Baron and married him!

Squid, lad, SQUID! We could taqlk about the System 2 12/13 reel I picked up for a song in Daytona Beach yesterday, should you not want to speak of slimy things.
