picked up my first kayak today,cant wait to get the fly rod out and go .... go ....go .....King Cove marina let me try both the pungo 12 and the tarpon, picked the tarpon ...sweet

on rt 1,north stonington ct......nice cove and ramp area not sure fo the cove name one of the long indian names called about a tall back seat this am got the #from info...860 599 4730 all i know

It sounds like it's in Wequetecock (sp) just south of the light for the Barn Island ramp. Rte 1 does not go through North Stonington. There is a row of small marinas there on the cove and one does have yaks out front.

yeah and that cove opens onto some great Barn Island waters... wonder if there are stripers there in good numbers yet...
