Fly Fished the mouth and surrounding areas today from the yak.
It was my friends second time out in the yak so could not fish it as hard as I would have liked...
No hookups..... Still slow..... time and tide were not optimal.....
As the outgoing started to Rip we had to get going :(
Did see one fish slash at my fly as I was picking up my line for a cast.... Looked like a small Blue of all things... Usually don't start seeing them till mid to late March....
It was a beautiful day on the water all in all....
The tides will be better later this week.....
