Hither Hills State Park, Napeague Harbor

I will be out in Montauk this weekend w/ the lil' woman and the fly gear is coming with. Would Napeague Harbor be a good place to hit as the weather looks like ****e! Can I wade there easily? Will I be covered w/ sand eels, spearing, crabs, shrimp, baby flounda', clousers, gurglers, deceivers and worm patterns in various sizes and colors? I've only fished the salt in CT and MD for bass and would greatly appreciate any info you all would be willing to share...
