Taken last fall at Montauk with my Sony digital. A polarizer would have helped, but you get the idea. This was on the North side west of the light house and went on, sporadically, all day. We were fishing with Capt. Dino Torino.

Hey Salty..

Seeing this video makes me realy want to move the boat back to Montauk. What was in this mix. It looks like Albies but one of those tails looked broad enough to be a striper. Thanks for the break here at work...

Looks like mostly bass to me (betcha there are albies on the edge). Brings back memories of last fall.

I love the line "are you still on?"

In the middle of Montauk fall blitzes, its possible to lose track of things like, well, you have a fish on, as you hear the tails flapping and see the fish going wild, and go into a trance like state.

Maybe if it warms up sometime we'll have another fall season out there.

And here is the bass that i pulled out of that blitz. Had to cast on the edges or you just foul hooked 'em.
