I'll be spending a week in the Outer Banks in July and looking to book a charter to do alittle flyfishing.
I'll be staying in Corolla
I'm a newbie to the Outer Banks but not to Flyfishing so if anybody has suggestions or recommendations I'd appreciate it

You might try Brian Horsly www.outerbanksflyfishing.com or Capt. Dave Rohde www.fish-riomar.com. There may be others who sponser this board? Good Luck....it's a great area.

Any info on what I may hook into down there in July ? Can I still get Stripers down there at that time ?
Thanks,

I was down there in late June last year. We got lots of schoolie stripers in the Manns Harbor area (tight to the bridge pilings), small blues and sharks off the beach. There were some Cobia off the beach, and they were getting some big amberjack on the wrecks 10-20 miles ofshore.
What I want to try, next time I'm in that area, is offshore flyfishing for yellowfin & dolphin and hit the wrecks for Amberjack along the way! Need to own or charter a bigger boat for that trip! Good luck.....
