Okay, just for the record, RT isn't a non-profit. We've got bills to pay like everyone. The nice thing is that we've been able to maintain this site without having to come to you, the readers.

We're now running affiliate advertising. The way this works is we partner with select gear providers, then we show you ads that are generally geared towards specific products. We get paid when you buy stuff, not when you click on the ads. We also have links to these suppliers, so you can buy any of their gear from them at the normal low prices, and still support Reel-Time.

When you need to buy gear, I ask that you try to use Reel-Time affiliates. You get the same great prices and gear (and sometimes better prices) and you support Reel-Time. You can access all of the great deals or any of our affiliates from the Affiliates page, which is located here. www.reel-time.com/affiliates (http://www.reel-time.com/affiliates)

We aren't a club site, with a handful of members running bake sales or begging for donations. This is a commercial site, managed by professionals with a firm commitment to bringing you the best. Think about how often the other sites you browse bring you new content other than their forums...once a season? Twice? We are updated EVERY single Friday with the latest professionally written reports. That's more content than the other sites post all season long. And we haven't even mentioned the great articles and fly patterns we bring you. Think about that...

Okay, enough of a rant...buy some gear, when it makes sense. Great prices, great gear and support Reel-Time.

You need to click on the links from Reel-Time for us to get credit for your purchases.

OK, sounds like a reasonable deal to me!
