I will be in Atlantic City this weekend. Can anyone recommend
some spots a non-resident can access some beach fishing spots
at this time of the year? Specific directions would be helpful.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

AC is a bit crowded. You may want to fish in Brigantine which is next to AC to the North. They have some nice empty beaches and buggy access. You will most likely have to contact the Brigantine police department to obtain a pass to take you're buggy on the beach.
Good luck! Some bass, blues and kingfish are in the wash now. You may also get into weakfish at night.

brigantine is really good. you need a permit to drive on the beach, but you can walk to the south jetty pretty easily, and there is a lot of good fishing there. take the bridge in brigantine (look for the borgata , it's right next to it via the tunnel), go to the first light and turn right. go as far as you can to the beach, and take another right. go down as far as you can, and park. walk onto the beach, and head to the jetty.
some of the back sod banks behind ac are pretty good also.
if you want to travel for about 20 minutes or so, then go to corsons inlet on the south side of ocean city. there is a lot of fishing area, and it's a very good spot for the flyrod.
if you are staying in one of the casinos, then hit the beach. there are jetties everywhere, and they hold a lot of fish.
i'd try either brigantine (less then 5 minutes from the casinos), or the beach in AC first, since they're the closest. corsons is really good in the evening thru to dawn, but at this time of year, the daytime is not good. too many knuckle heads on jet skis and go-fast boat with flashy colors.
good luck.
