For the July 8th meeting of the Hudson River Fishermen’s Association, the HRFA willing be conducting it’s annual workshop designed for those members who wish to learn various techniques of fishing the New York and New Jersey area. The workshop will start at the usual time the speaker would normally come on. Tables with experts will be set up in a way so members can travel from station to station to learn some of the following topics in a practical manner. Knot tying, filleting fish, cleaning reels are some of the basic education areas that will be taught. Other things like throwing a cast net for bait and making rigs and keeping bait alive are also areas that will be covered. Many other fishing related topics would be available for HRFA members and guest to learn. A JCCA (Jersey Coast Anglers Association) table will also be available for those who have questions about this organization. Last year, this meeting was a great success for the HRFA.

Please Join the HRFA meeting on July 8th at 7:45 PM. Located at the Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge, between Spruce Ave and Cedar St. on the 2nd Floor. Non-members are asked to give a $2.00 donation. New members are welcome at a cost of $25.00 for an annual family membership.
