Hi there,
Most of my days at work I am thinking about fishing (proabably a few of you out there). At the same time, I am thinking about where I should be fishing in the Boston and North/ South Shore Area, as I have vitrually no first-hand experience of this area.
This is my third year of fishing saltwater and first year fly fishing. Most of my fishing has been on the Cape, but the gracious friend that brought me into the sport just left for a stint in the Peace Corps  so I must admit I am a bit lost....
My primary concern is not where all the fish are hitting but where are the spots where I can safely expereince TOW.
I live and work just west of Boston but close to 95 and 93 so I am willing to travel most places to fish. I'd love to hook up and fish with some of locals who know these waters...or if possible, get a better sense of some safe spots to wade.
I fished Deer Island for the first time two weeks ago and saw a bunch of FF guys chatting by there cars. I didn't get a hit but I had a blast being out there...I'd like to get out there a couple times each week so if you don't mind an extra guy on the shore with you please give me a holler....
Thanks in advance-Ed :D
One more thing: I have it in my head that spending money at the local tackle shops will bring good karma in the form of get some fish to hit my flies....this hasn't worked yet, BUT, i am not giving up hope...please share knowledge of shops with great patterns.....
