I am a new to flats fishing on the Cape and would like to accompany someone experienced in fishing Barnstable, Monomoy or lesser known flats. Most recently I joined the South Beach /Monomoy Reel-Time trip in June. I have fished the Canal West End and a few times at Sesuit Flats and would like to expand my horizons. I am low maintenance i.e. I will drive myself to a meeting place (or car pool if you live in the Boston Area) and I am experienced and courteous enough that I won't negatively impact on the quality of your fishing experience. I am mainly concerned with safety (even though I equipped with SOSuspenders and a cell phone in a waterproof case) having read Randy Jones' blog and having a few close calls myself.

I am a jig and sluggo spin fisherman so if there are any fly fishing purists out there be forewarned! Although, hopefully, I will score points with my conservation ethos. I practice catch and release with stripers only rarely keeping one of the PCB-laden critters for the grill. I also own a kayak equipped for fishing although I prefer wading. I love bone and albie fishing as well. I'm good for lunch or a few rounds at the bar in exchange for your flats expertise.:-%

Regards,

Matt
