Was looking for a deal on a Tioga #10 reel. A demo or whatever would be fine jsut looking for the warrenty and a good price. (125 is the lowest I can find right now). Also looking for a deal on WF-9-F or WF-10-F Saltwater fly line. I will be fishing mostly tropical and flats. Any reccomendations? I check serria trading psot nothin looks good for casting heavy flies I wanted the refish line but not in my weight. Hopefully I can get this combo together before septmember.

Take a look at eBay. Sometimes you have to watch it for a while to find what you want, but there are good deals to be had. I looked at the "completed" items, and there were several of those reels that went for $75-$100 in the past month.

keep your eyes open for mikescottsflyshop on ebay I have been looking for a tioga #10 he has it started at $95 buy it now at $99 for some reason unusually he doesn't have any items listed at the moment. Kinda strange he has had like 5 constantly for the past few months. Maybe its the teton chapter 11 thing. Keep any eye on that.

I got a combo finallly. Was goin go with temple fork and tioga reel but a deal crossed my path before i got to that point. $200 for about a year old #8 weight 9 foot Orvis HLS 2 Midflex with a rendtigon RS2 w/ spare spool. It also came with line/backing and he gave me a case. I love being the youngest guy int he fly club. I think im going to repleace the line it has some memory and gets sticky often. Think aobut Royal Wulff any comments about the rod/reel/line or jsut me in general lol.

mizt: I guess by now you know Teton is no longer selling flyfishing equipment although they are still answering their 800 number and agreeing, most pleasantly, to repairing reels as I experienced with my Teton 9/11 LA reel with a poor drag. The rod you're interested in is certainly a discontinued Orvis rod. I don't really understand your last post as it was rather garbled. What is your question about the equipment you are intending to purchase?

On ebay right now, buy it now for $110. Auction ends at approximately 6:45pm.
