B+B,
Would you care to share a general location??? East,West, offshore/Inshore??? Pretty vague report which is not very interesting unless you tell us generally where. I don't want to know exact locations just a general idea of where to start looking I will take it from there. Thanks if you decide to share more info.

Mike, head across the big pond, from your homeport, a little SSW, think ferry;) I really like not too much traffic, makes for better fishing and more enjoyable fishing.(so far got them to myself. Sorry to not divuldge too much info, flies of choice epoxy spearing, chartreuse early, olive after 9am 3 1/2"

B+B,
Thanks for the info thats all I need. I am going to see if I can make an exploratory run soon and see if I can locate any willing tuna type creatures. Appreciate the heads-up.

while admittedly i had a small window of opportunity to observe, i was on the new london-orient pt ferry twice this weekend and was scanning the waters from outside the thames all the way to plum gut and didn't see much in the way of fish or boats. however, both times i travelled, the tide was about as slack as it can get in the gut. you must of had moving water.

Mike,
Was a little south west of you yesterday ( on foot ) saw HUGE schools of blues.. must have been a half dozen schools of them stretching for about a mile and a half. I also saw what I believed to be BONES out there as well. Very tightly packed well formed blitz occured and I caught a glimpse of forked tails moving very fast, pausing for about 5-10 minutes before moving on. I cannot be sure if thats what they were because they were kinda far off shore but I am 99% sure that they were Bones.
Managed 1 blue about 5-6lbs after all. The schools stayed pretty far out for the most part occasionaly popping up close enough to pick off a straggler.
