We just got back from the keys(key largo, stayed at the marriot) a week ago, and it was great i kayak fish mostly so we took em down and caught barracuda, if you go to john pennekamp to the snorkel area and head out past the channel and fish those flats for lots of barracuda, a good sign is you will hear them burst on the water, 1 at a time and cast right near them and hold on, lots of 2 footers and a few 3 and 4 footers its only around 3 to 4 feet. if you stay at the marriot fish right off the beach behind it too, use poppers

I haven't been there in November but from what I understand it is a good time of year. I've been told sailfish are back then and fish on the flats is good. There are plenty of guides there with good reputations. I can recommend an offshore boat for bait/spin fishing but that's all I've done out of KW. All of our flats guided fishing was in Marathon, about 1.5 hrs from KW.

Punchshot,

The November flats fishing around Key West is inconsisent, due the arrival of the first cold fronts around Halloween. The good news is that this is also a slower time of year for the best guides, and you may be able to get a day or two with someone who is capable of beating the weather. I'd recommend calling either Simon Becker (305-745-3565) or Tom Rowland (305-294-7447). If they are already booked, they can recommend someone who is not.

The best fishing in November is likely to be for permit, with some bones around depending on wind direction.
