Lanesville

Had a couple of hours to kill on Wednesday (Noon to 2). Launched my kayak at Lanesville in light wind and moderates swell. Trolled a black tube and rubber worm between the bouys and rocks and caught stripers in every cove. Took home a 31 incher. Never saw another boat.

Hall11: Did you paddle north or south of Lane's Cove? Since I live five minutes away, the so-called hole in the wall is my primary put-in. The northerly route is usually fishier, but at this time of year you can score in either direction. In any event, welcome to paradise.

I went both ways. Had more luck on the way to Folly than to Annisq. Either way was great. Hope to find time to go back next week.
