Fort Adams, Newport.

Got into a couple of good near shore blitz's off fort Adam's today. Mostly 6-8# blues. The boats that could deal with the 20mph+ wind were into breaking fish all day. The waves looked to be about 1'-3', managable in anything 16' + I would think.

I was in 6 - 8 foot swell yesterday in my kayak. Got kind of concerned when I couldn't keep track of the lobster boats. I could only see them when I was on top of a wave. Walls of water otherwise!!!

For the record I was very close to shore and wasn't worried about other boat traffic where I was.
