Met JoeV at O'dark-thirty at Niantic. Smallish fish were popping but we decided to launch near Pleasure Beach. Trolled the shore where Joe picked up an 8/9 lb blue and a 35 inch striper. Checked Two Trees but not much happening, I got one barley keeper striper. After daybreak poked around Jordan Cove where saw some FA busting, caught one. ****a on light spin tackle, my first from the yak. Had a couple good pods come through, we both had them surround us once or twice, but no more hook ups. Got the blue on the leg back to the launch, 5/6 lber. Nothing for another hour so we loaded up the yaks. Of course that's when they came through again so we charged down to a jetty where they had bait pinned but again no hook ups. Not a lot of fish but a good day on the water, probably my last shot at Albies for the season.
