I am considering a yak for the spring and was wondering opinions on these two from ocean kayak. Keep in mind I get a pretty good deal on these things. Use will be for spinning, and fly fishing around MV, and possibly CT coast.

I think you're gonna be happy either way. The prowler looks like a scupper with slightly "improved" design. It's offering more width, little more length, little better lines. I have never paddled one but it looks quite nice.
The scupper protw is a well proven design that works well for light touring and fishing. It takes a little getting used to with a 26" width, but once you do you'll like the speed. I have been using one for 4 years and like it just fine.
If you have great deal on either, then sit in each one. My hunch is you will like the prowler better for the added room to move around and I assume better initial stabililty.
You will find these boats are somewhat heavy out of water, but they do OK once they're afloat.
Good luck.
