This is a small squid with a sili skin body. The eyes are imbedded under the sili skin.. The tenticals are a tuft of white maribou, a tuft of pearl angel hair, 4 strands of pearl large saltwater flashabou, 4 stands of white hackle tips, and the feelers are 2 white rooster cape feathers, stripped down to the ends to form a spoon shape.

Can't tell from the picture, is the body just cylindrical? I tied a couple of squid using sili skin several months ago and shaped the body like a squids with the "fins" sticking out to the side. Good thought to put the eyes under the skin and strip the rooster. Mine swam really well, I had trouble keeping the fins lined up correctly on the hook one a few fish hit it, but the way your body is on the hook would solve that real easy.

Thanks Alder..I thought of putting the fins on but did not with this one... It is cylindrical... with a Mylar Braid tubing as reinforcement.

Ah hah...another good idea. The body on mine was just stuck to the feathers, etc. that I used. Mylar tubing would definitely make a difference.
