Sili Skin Flies

Has anyone had good luck using Sili Skin Flies.? I have not had any luck using the peanut bunker Sili Skin fly . I think the reason is that the only motion in the fly is the tail. Was thinking of putting a wing on top of the fly to improve its action.

Bill.. I have had some success with the small sand eel ones and some one of my squid patterns ...from a boat...Unfortunatly ,I really nver got the chance to experiment with the bait fish imitations simply because I did not get a chance to try them. I know Rich Murphy has mentioned at UFT meetings that he has had success with his bait fish imitations.

Capt Terry Nugent and myself had some real good luck with the Sili Skin bait fish imitations. Worked great on the albies and spanish mackeral.
