Cod reports anyone? [Archive]

What a crazy month of weather! Anyone hear reports on cod presence? The only info I have is "b bouy" action but too long of a paddle for me solo.

In close from what I've heard but can't confirm myself. The ledges East and South of the Haba should be worth a look on calm days. I plan to be out this weekend so I'll let you know.

Good numbers of fish in between Deer and Long Isls. Guy from my marina took a dozen keepers there last week.

Check out this month's "On the Water" They have a cod article in there that shows a couple near shore areas. Might be worth a look.
