Flash top clousers

I just rcvd my SWFF mag (not FFSW). CApt Mike Starke did a great write-up on clousers with flash on the top of the wing. TIed a few up last night and got to admitt they look real good.

Tied most on 3/0. White/yellow & gold flash

What article is that? I assume SWFF is "Salt Water Fly Fishing" but is it a magazine to which I can subscribe or a Web site? A Google search didn't yield much in the top few results.

I just got my first mag in the mail on Monday. I get both Fly fishing in Saltwater and Saltwater Fly Fishing.
I'll check the issue, I think it is Oct/Nov.

peacock herl colored K-Flash on top of mine. We use a lot of white & chart. or solid chart. here (Texas) and the darker flash on top really finishes them off well.
