Hello Folks,
Having been named the moderator of this forum, I want to introduce myself. Though I have spoken to many of you and met some, here's some info about me. I'm a 34 year old mechanical engineer / fishing nut. I live in a suburb of Boston and fish all over New England. I started guiding part-time on the Chatham flats last year.
I have a strong interest in marine life conservation. To that end I am a member of CCA and will soon become chairman and president of the Massachusetts chapter. There are several conservation groups we are interested in and CCA is only one of them. Each doing their part to help maintain and improve our fisheries. I promise no preference to any one interest group.
I only have one request as moderator of this board. That is we participate in constructive discussions. Let's face it, the topics covered here are inherently delicate issues. Mud slinging and other pointless arguing gets us nowhere.
