Here is a bay anchovie fly tied in the hookup style, it's approx. 2 1/2 in. long

Captain, are you using softex around the gill plate like your other peanur bunker fly?

Yes I do use softex around the gill plate, it keeps them from flaring out like wings after several strikes.

A great looking fly. what materials do you use for the wing ?

For the wing in this particular fly I used mostly Unique Hair and a little bit of craft fur on the top. I like synthetics for these flies because they can be trimmed to shape after the fly is tied, but bucktail will also work. You don't want to use very much craft fur in the hookup flies because the hook is in the middle of the wing and it's too easy to tangle. I will use only a little on the top or at the base of the wing where it won't tangle too badly, although I do love the swimming action of craft fur in the water and fish do too.
