Ivv'e got a decent handle on the fly aspect. But at great risk of exposing my roots, I would like to know more about plug / live bait fishing in NY/NJ/CT area. Occaisonally I like to throw a plug or live bait. I know this is incredibly taboo to post on a fly website, but I would like to know. I may have the opportunity to move there next spring. I'm sorry, about this my friends. Apparently I've not yet been fully delivered from my sinful bait-slinging childhood. I you choose to reply to my live bait request I promise to keep your identity confidential so that you won't be riduculed out of your local club and thrown of the site like I risk.

Silverking - Don't worry - you'll find a lot of fellow travelers in these parts. As long as you don't use live chickens or puppies for bait, I doubt that you'll run into any trouble. I just wish that more bait dunkers would use circle hooks, as the kill-and-release situation seems to be getting a bit out of hand.
