Ive been starting the season OFF with this patten it's a floater that works on the vinyard for me.

no.6 hook
BODY float foam (rany's float foam small)
TAIL punch hole in tail insert/glue material
EYES molded silver.
thats it now go tie some up for next season.

It's a floating sand eel pattern that Eric Peterson designed back in the '80s.
