This is an experiment with making heads flat (thin) looking from the top or straight on. The fly is tied with Rooster Capes of white, side tyed on the bottom with different colors of capes on the top- Hy tied. Th collars are Hackle tips or bird feathers , The heads are shaped with sili Skin... then a light coat of epoxy, then hard as hull. The sili skin is sliped over the hook eye by cutting a small slit then molding into shape and triming.

Nice looking flies...
Just a question about the action, what would happen if you curved the head a bit...say like a spoon.
I've been trying to imitate the "Rapala wobble" into a few patterns so far with limited success.

Yes I suppose I could do that... since you can play with the sili skin... and force the shape with epoxy... but the flat head should act as an injured bait fish which is what I am shooting for... some straight..then side motion.
