Parking - Free; 5-10 vehicles

This put-in is at a heavily used boat ramp. The majority of the parking spaces are for trailers but there are a few regular spaces along the fence. Do not park in a trailer spot unless you are trailering.
Great River feeds out into Waquoit Bay. Paddling is protected and easy so long as you are away from the mouth of the bay. In the mouth of the bay the current is swift and can create standing waves. Paddling against the current is possible but not advised so plan accordingly. Fishing for Stripers and Blues is good around the mouth and Bonito and False Albacore have been known to show up in targetable numbers in the summer.
